Q1: Who is eligible to participate? 

A1: In order to be eligible, you must register and complete your candidate profile on the VISTA+ platform. Be sure to complete your profile by registering at www.vistaplus.vi.  Employees of UVI Research & Technology Park and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. 

Q1A. What does a ‘complete’ candidate profile include?  

A1A. A complete candidate profile includes the following: Full name, Email, Date of birth, Qualification, Experience, Language,  Candidate Job Category, Your Location, Education and an uploaded Resume/CV   

Q2: How do I enter the contest? 

A2: Participants can enter the contest by completing their VISTA+ candidate profile, then returning to our website, www.comehomeusvi.com, and RSVP for the Dine and Whine event. Your RSVP will also enter you into the #Comehomeusvi round-trip ticket back home raffle. 

Q3: Can I submit more than one entry? 

A3: No, only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will lead to disqualification. 

Q4: How will the winner be selected? 

A4: The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the raffle period. The drawing will be conducted by UVI Research & Technology Park or an independent judging agency on October 21st, 2023.  

Q5: What is the prize for this contest? 

A5: The winner will receive a roundtrip ticket back home to the US Virgin Islands. 

Q6: How will I know if I won? 

A6: The winner must be present to win. 

Q7: When is the deadline for entry? 

A7: All entries must be received by October 20th to be eligible for the drawing. 

Q8: Is there a cash alternative to the prize? 

A8: No, the prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available. 

Q9: Can I transfer my prize to someone else if I win? 

A9: No, prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. 

Q10: What are the travel restrictions or blackout dates?

A10: The travel must be completed by December 2024, and reservations are subject to availability. No blackout dates. Ticket price must not exceed $800.

Q11: Will I be responsible for any other expenses not included in the prize? 

A11: Yes, the winner will be responsible for any additional expenses not specified in the prize description, such as travel insurance, meals, and other personal expenses.

Q13: Is travel insurance included in the prize? 

A13: No, travel insurance is not included in the prize, and we recommend that the winner arrange for their own travel insurance. 

  
Q14: Can I choose the airline for the roundtrip ticket? 

A14: No, the airline will be selected by UVI Research & Technology Park based on availability and cost.
